    On Sunday, August 5th, 2012, Bobby Navarro of 100eats.com and Chef Amar Santana of Broadway in Laguna Beach will be paving the way of culture and class with this inaugural pig-centric social.

    Fifteen of the best chefs in Orange County will be coming together to celebrate the “blessings of the swine” and help those in the culinary industry achieve their dreams. This will be the first event of its kind in Orange County, combining culinary creative with craft cocktails in the same forum.  FOR ONE ALL INCLUSIVE TICKET PRICE you will be savoring variations of pig, opportunities to donate through raffles and silent auction, live music presented by the Nate Williams Band, signature cocktails from the craft bartenders of Orange County, and the stellar sights and sounds of the Newport Dunes Resort.

    Gabrielle Dion will be coordinating the craft cocktails portion of the festivities alongside the following mixologists, each hand chosen to join PigOut for being at the forefront of the cocktail revolution:

    After the presale, tickets go up in price and will only be available at the door.  Your Name will be on a list at the front gates of the venue, you will also receive an e-mail with detailed information no later than noon, Saturday 8/4.

    Our goal is to raise up to $120,000.  A portion will be going to Inspire Artistic Minds, a charity brought to life by Bobby Navarro, to build the first funds for the passionate, talented and driven in the hospitality and culinary industry to follow their vision and impact our community   In addition every ticket purchased will be contributing to C-CAP, a non-profit dedicated to making the culinary dreams come true of youth across the nation. C-CAP is the largest independent culinary scholarship program in the country offering high-school students with work skills, on-the-job training, and college advising for those who compete and win scholarships in the annual C-CAP cooking contest. This scholarship foundation was the blessing that allowed Chef Amar Santana the opportunity to attend culinary school and create a name for him-self in the culinary world.

This will be an outside event, taking place on grass, cement, and possibly sand, please dress appropriately. Due to the size of this event, every chef will have multiple tastes, and you will be given the opportunity to try every chef, but you may not be able to try every item available.**
